This talk presented by HAT and Hampshire Field Club follows on from an earlier talk about publishing Local History . During the discussion that followed it became clear that digital publishing was a big enough topic to need another talk just about that one path

The topic, on September 28 at 7 pm, which is already attracting a lot of interest, is how best to use digital resources to publish material written by local historians. It will be continued on October 26 at 7 pm. The full programme is attached.

 ‘From research to page’ will cover the process of making digital files of ‘pages’ and researching pictures. ‘From page to product’ will cover the business of turning digital files into products for sale, and the new opportunities offered by film and sound archives.
